“We are delighted with it, it has caught it, of course we understand another will take over the run at some stage.
We have been after it or others for some years using humane forms, which some would have you believe work, they certainly do not and our devastated garden is proof of that.
We have tried other traps lately and they also did not work, yours got it within two days and probably would have been sooner if we had put it, where it was most active.
So an enormous thank you for your product.”
Anne Hickman , UK. 6th September 2017
“I bought your mole trap over a year ago to catch a mole on the village green. I caught it immediately. This week we had a mole at work on the edge of our bowling green in Hovingam. Much to the amazement of our members, I was again successful overnight, saving the bowling surface.A great product.”
Mr Hutton, Hovingham, York, UK. 12th July 2017
“Thank you so much for producing a mole trap for the 21st century that is user friendly for small female hands. I saw it advertised in “Private Eye” and sceptically thought I would give it a try even though it would probably be a waste of money. To my delight I have caught my first ever mole, not as quickly as promised but that’s ok. In despair over my mole problem I took a course to enable me to gas them but this is an ineffective and very expensive method which I will ditch now I finally have a trap that I can use without fearing for my fingers.
I hope you do terribly well with your excellent product. I will be singing it’s praises to any one with a mole problem.”
Brigid Fairman, UK, 20th June 2017
“Works as described! We already got 3 moles during the last 2 weeks. Excellent idea and production. Recommended for everyone!”

“This gadget is brilliant ! We have had a mole problem all summer & have tried all sorts of deterrents. Nothing worked & our lawn was totally wrecked. Then I came across this gadget & since it had such good reviews I decided to give it a go. I ordered it on a Tuesday, it arrived Wednesday & I carefully followed the other reviewers` instructions in washing it with soapy water, rinsing & handling it with rubber gloves. Having found the mole run with a very long screwdriver I put the trap in place & covered it with a plastic bowl as someone else suggested. Thursday morning I could not believe my eyes – no new mole hills (we had had over 30 !!) !! I removed the plastic bowl & found the trap had activated. One very large mole dispatched !! I only wish I had found this device sooner. If we get any more moles next year I will use it immediately. Amazing product. Very well designed, easy to use & extremely effective.”

“We tried using solar sonic mole repellers, they just don’t work, the mole comes back and the repellers break. We investigated getting the professionals in, very expensive. This product WILL work. You have to place it in the ground correctly. Use the big molehills as markers, the main tunnel will be running between them, ignore the smaller mounds of disturbed ground they are just where it is searching for food. Our main mole tunnel was a good foot underground. Once we dug a trap sized hole we put a few mealworms in to attract the mole (we feed these to the birds). Set the trap (mind your fingers), place it in the hole, cover as best you can without burying it and then place a dark bucket over the top so there is no daylight seeping in. It took 12 hours to catch him. We worried about this trap causing a mess, it was mess free. The mole is tiny, just a bit larger than a mouse. Apparently there is no humane way to catch a mole, if you relocate them they die, or you place them in an area already inhabited by another mole they fight, if you poison them its painful. Its not fun, but if your mole is causing your garden to sink and your kids are loosing feet down the holes then you have to take action. Sometimes you have no other option. This WILL work. Good luck!” Mr Rolfe, UK, 4th October 2016
“What a brilliant device. Caught the ‘little devil’, that had been ruining my lawn for ages, at only the second attempt. An excellent product. Well worth the small investment. Thank you so much.” Geoffrey Ireland, Alderney, Channel Islands – where we are plagued by moles! April 2016
“Having tried absolutely everything available on the Czech market without success, l bought 2 mole traps from you on-line. After just 3 days, I got him! Have reset the traps in case there are others.
Great product! Many thanks” Mr C Bergmann, Okres Beroun, Czech republic, 21st December 2015
“We’ve been plagued by moles in our garden for the last year and nothing seemed to work. We purchased the Mole Catchers Kit
earlier in the year and within 24 hours, we had caught our first mole. In the last 2 months, we have caught another three and I’m happy to say that so far, the garden is quiet again. Great traps, very effective, safe for families with pets, easy to set and retrieve and humane. Thank you Beagle!” Mrs H Rowe, 4th December 2015
“Just wanted to say that I caught my first mole this morning, it’s the first time I have used it and had to reposition the trap a couple of times but think I have the technique now and have reset again in a different area hoping for a repeat success.
I bought the trap at the game fayre as it seemed like a new and clever device and am very glad I did so. Well done for inventing it.” Ingrid, UK, 5th November 2015
“Wow! a mole trap that really works. I’ve been plagued with moles ruining my lawns for years and found the traditional pincer traps difficult to set as the runs are quite deep, so the top of the traps are below ground level, usually I ended up with the traps just being filled with soil by the very sensitive mole! which was frustrating. I ordered 2 of your beagle traps last Friday and Saturday morning to my delight caught the mole, they are very easy to set and because the killing spring is slightly submerged in the soil below the run the moles don’t sense they are there. Fantastic product ” Neil from Lincolnshire UK, 16th October 2015
” I really don’t know what to say except thank you. The trap worked perfectly and so easy to use I was concerned about the method of loading other sorts of traps with strong springs that obviously held some danger to older slightly arthritic fingers like mine. As soon as I read about your traps that are so easy to set I knew that I had found the answer to my problem..” Mr D Milnes,Yorkshire UK, 6 August 2015
“Having only used the Beagle EasySet mole trap for 24 hours, we have managed to catch two moles and now all seems quiet on the mole front! Thank you, your product is superb.” Alexander Hall, Everedge UK, 17 July 2015
“I moved to France 8 years ago and live near a small town in Normandy called Doudeville. For all of that time we have been plagued with moles. It has been impossible to cultivate a decent “lawn” we have lumpy grass. As a consequence I have a damaged lawnmower and a wife with a twisted ankle. I recently discovered, on line, the Easy Set Mole Trap
and in desperation I purchase 3. After watching the online video and speaking to the inventor David Rolfe, I set about placing the traps. I was delighted to catch two within 24 hours but even more so when the following day I caught two more. A neighbour was inundated with them, At one stage I counted 60 molehills in his garden of 3000 square metres. I showed him the traps and said that I would lay one for him so he could see how effective they are. I returned home with fingers crossed. No need, because within two hours he came round smiling to say that he had caught one. They do work. I would advise getting the probe as well, as it helps locate the runs, which is key to setting them correctly. I don’t suppose I will be mole free for long but at least I have a solution to the next invasion.” Mr P Webb, Normandy,France, 18 June 2015
“this certainly works got the little blighter second night really pleased!”. A Haswell, Kent,UK, 09 June 2015
“Good mole trap. Easy to put in ground. Caught one in no time.Buying 2 more”. G Williams, Wales, 07 June 2015
“Bought the Mole Catchers Kit
at Malvern. First time I used it I caught a large mole within 4 hours. Clear instructions and very effective! Ready for any of his friends!”. J Borthwick, UK, 11 May 2015
“Managed to catch Mr Mole. Poor thing, but he was making a massive mess of my lawn. As always the main thing is to set the trap correctly which is a bit of a skill in itself. You also have to be a bit careful that not too much much gets in the mechanism or it can get a bit sticky. So tips – Use a sharp thin implement to find the tunnel between two mole hills. Dig down ( some say with a trowel – I prefer a spade) till you find both ends of the tunnel. push down on the earth so it is firm and the mole is not able to dig under the trap. Place the trap in, then weigh either side of the plunger down with stone, bits of crockery. use bits of turf to block out the light. Actually I have some felt which I use as well so not too much earth gets in. Then wait. To increase your chances you really need more than one trap.”Alex A, UK, 17 March 2015
“It really works – caught one in two hours. Yes!!!” Ray Bevan, UK, 03 March 2015
“Had a lot of little visitors causing mayhem in the garden. Time for action so shopped around for a mole trap. Lots to read about including videos on social media. I chose this one because it is well made so will last a long time and is British. The way you use this trap is better compared with other traps I considered because of the way you position it in a mole run. The trap worked and now my garden is free of mole hills. The key to caching moles is to spend an amount of time studying which runs they use. Then set you trap in an existing run so when moley comes to tidy up the run you catch him.” Keith L Kalnet, UK, 05 March, 2015
“I bought this mole trap from you a few weeks ago and thought I would contact you to let you know I have had a lot of success with it. Moles have been driving me mad by digging up the lawn. I have always used scissor traps before, but was finding the moles were filling them with soil or digging around them. Since using this trap I have caught several. Thank you very much for helping me get the boss of the moles.” Nathan, Ebay customer. UK. Jan 2015
“Want to get rid of moles? Get one. first class. Used twice and two dead moles!”. Ray Worcester, UK. Jan 2015
“I got this a few months ago and at first had no success with my mole problem and gave up and considered professional advice. I had a blighter who kept back filling the tunnels. However, after refining my technique I have killed 5 in the last month or two and have had less times when it’s gone off without getting the mole. I advise you use a spade as wide as the trap itself and fit it tightly. I just use a screwdriver or wire to feel for the tunnels. The trap works well, it’s just the placement technique that needs to be equally as good and keep persisting.
Keep it clean and spray some WD40 in the mechanism to keep it slick. Best of luck!” Amazon Customer UK. Nov 2014
“This was just the thing we needed, had mole for few yrs and put this in and inside of 2days we had caught it.” Mrs J Merry, UK. Oct 2014
“Utilizing your excellent Beagle Mole Trap purchased last year I have successfully trapped 7 moles. Whilst they are dear little animals they sadly make such a mess. Rather than find the run I simply remove the soil from the mole hill to reveal the run underneath. After placing the set Beagle Mole trap next to the mole run I cover the trap. The Beagle product is so easy to use with the advantage of a wider entry into the trap before the mole hits the release mechanism. Fingers crossed I hope in time to have a garden free of underground interference. No doubt I shall be back to buy a 2nd trap.” Brian E, Cheshire, UK
“I had 2 traps delivered Thursday, I went and laid them 2 and half hours later I had caught 2 moles, the traps are magic I have used scissor traps and tunnel traps but these Beagle traps are so easy to lay, AND the moles cant fill them in, would recommend them.” B Lello, UK. Oct 2014
“Best Traps I’ve ever used. Caught 2 within 2 days. Really, really good value and so simple to use. many Thanks.” Mr J N Binks, York, UK
“When I read the instructions which said ” set the trap as per instruction , return in 24 hours and remove the mole” I Gave a wry smile, it could not possibly be so simple ? I gave an even bigger smile when I returned after 24 hours to see the trap had worked perfectly as described. The traps are well designed and much easier to set than the old fashioned finger amputation type that I have had before. I Can’t recommend enough but wish the more humane methods of mole control on sale would work” Woody, customer. UK. Nov 2014
“I bought two of your mole traps.I wanted to tell you I have had fantastically good results with your mole traps. Over the years I have been plagued with moles and tried many types of traps with little success. However your trap catches the mole within a couple of days. I found your instructions very easy to follow and have placed the trap as you advised each time. I have recommended your traps to friends and know at least one friend has had good results. Many thanks” Mrs L McCombe, UK, Nov 2014
“Perfect! Best mole traps. From Russia with love :)” M Vereshchak, Moscow Region
“Bought 4 of these traps now, works every time it’s set, brilliant many thanks” G Lighton, Lincs, UK
“We bought 2 of the Easyset Mole Traps
last year as we were plagued with moles – we had tried several methods before without much success – until we tried yours! They have worked a treat and we have been successful every time we’ve used them. We even lent them to a neighbour and he was also successful, so much so that this current order for 4 is in fact for him!” John Hyndman, Austria
“I found out about the product because I subscribe to the UK edition of “The Week” and it was favourably reviewed therein. I’ve had good luck with it. I caught two moles in the first week and am now challenged to find new places to redeploy it as the mole activity is so reduced. It has been far more effective than other things I’ve tried in the past (poison – useless, traditional steel spring-loaded spear traps – useless, solar-powered sonic deterrent – somewhat effective) so congratulations to you for literally coming up with a better mouse (mole) trap! I see no reason why US gardeners wouldn’t like it …” Noah W, NY, USA
“Thank you! Your traps do exactly what they say they do! Read the instructions, that are very clear, and set the traps and your problems and anxieties are soon behind you. Delighted it does what it says it will do on the label and more so that it is a brilliant British product. Feel free to use this letter as an unsolicited big thank you!”Dr A Haden-Taylor, St Brelade, Jersey
“Either I was very lucky or your trap is miraculous! I have about an acre of garden and bought 2 traps. There were 2 separate areas with most mole hills. I chose one of these areas and put 2 traps down. Got a very large mole in one of the traps next morning. Had a mole catcher in a few years ago and this DIY option was so much more convenient and cheaper. Thank you”Simon Silver, Ross-on-Wye, GB

“Having had a ‘professional’ mole catcher visit our garden and walk away as it looked too tricky we bought two of your traps at the Malvern Spring Show a few weeks ago. Despite my initial scepticism and total past failure with other traps I set a trap as instructed and caught my first mole within 24 hours. Since then three more moles have been caught and activity has significantly decreased. The traps are so simple and effective the expectation is to catch a mole every time. Great” D. Barber, UK
“After a slow start, I am now catching moles successfully thanks to your advice. I think the spade makes all the difference getting the hole the right size.” Sir John Maxwell Macdonald, Scotland
“Your mole trap is fantastic! Set it once – and caught the mole which has been playing havoc with our lawn” Jane Keogh, Yorkshire,UK
“It is important not to let any light in. The first couple of times there was no catch, but once I sealed it in properly with earth I caught one big (very dead) male mole within 8 hours” Robert Strachan, Dorset, UK
“I am extremely pleased with my Beagle mole trap. Throughout the winter a mole had decimated my back lawn and although I set and persevered with the traditional galvanised scissor and tunnel traps, I was unable to catch the little blighter. Purchased the Beagle trap – very easy to set, and caught the mole within a couple of days! I am very satisfied customer and will definitely recommend this to others” Mr C Dukes, Stourbridge, West Midlands, UK
“We purchased 2 or your traps at the Malvern Spring Show. We have always had a problem with moles and have struggled with the old metal traps for years. Last weekend our little velvet friends returned! Beagle traps at the ready, we had 2 moles in 2 days! Fantastic result and so easy to use” J. Dickson, UK
“I am very happy with the mole traps, I will be buying more in the future, I caught a mole first time. I am impressed. it is very easy to use. I will be telling my friends about them” Owen Matthews,Swansea, Wales
“Very impressed. This is a really good machine. It’s simple, easy to operate, works well and just “does what it says on the tin”. Does not rust and is vastly better than any of the alternatives on the market (by far and away the best written instructions on how to trap a mole that I’ve read). Highly recommended. We no longer have a mole problem. Excellent” Robert, Ipswich, UK
“I bought a mole trap from you on Friday at Badminton to catch the moles who are ruining my vegetable patch! But ….success on my first attempt at mole catching! I set the trap as per your instructions on Saturday and went off to work. When I returned the trap had gone off and I found one very dead mole! Please tell any women that it is really easy to use and works – the only downside is that they will have to add mole catching to their list of duties” Isabelle Walker,UK
